Product: HP pavilion 17-F080nb
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8 (64-bit)

Hello, I would like to know the parts number of my CPU cooling fan of my HP pavilion 17-F080NB laptop, so I can order a new one in order to replace it. When I start the laptop I get the system fan 90B error. I tried the partsurfer, but I didnt find my product there. I would be nice knowing  the product number on beforehand so I won't have to open up the computer to find out. Can hp support help me? Thanks in advance.

According to chapter 3, page 37 of the service manual, you need a fan with this part number... 765788-001

The fan is sold in the USA.  Very expensive for a fan!

Thank you for your response. The product seems unavalailable in my country. And yes the price seems high for a fan. However is there a way to order it anyway? Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately, that I do not know.

 

Suggest you google the part number and see if a 3rd party supplier carries it.

 

Try eBay too.

Okay, I gave the number to my local pc repair shop; they might find an alternative fan that can fit. Thanks for the information.
