Product: HP Pavilion TouchSmart 14-b109wm Sleekbook
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

I am trying to upgrade my Win 8.1 OS to Win 10. Cannot load Win 10 unless I make my Intel HD video driver compatible with Win 10 before upgrading. Does anyone have a drive or solution? Thanks.

Do you have a W10 product key?

 

Microsoft closed the loophole back in October of 2023 that allowed users to continue to upgrade their PC's to W10 after the free upgrade period ended in July of 2016.

 

If so, this was the last driver Intel released for the Intel graphics adapter your notebook has:

 

Intel® Celeron® Processor 877

Re the Win 10 upgrade USB drive I am using: It was used for open license upgrades and was lent to me without a registry key as they said it didn't need one. 

Is it possible I can get the driver anywhere to make this upgrade work? Thanks

I apologize. You posted the link for the most recent driver.  That's what happens when I try to think before my first cup of coffee. Thanks for the link. I'll let you know what happens when I retry the upgrade.

You're very welcome.

 

If the auto install doesn't work, let me know and I will give you a method to try manually installing the driver instead.

 

I'm pretty sure that without a W10 product key Windows will not be activated after the upgrade.
