New videocard for HP 15-ac030nd notebook

Hello,

He wants to play Ark Survival Evolved but the videocard (Intel HD5500) doesn't seem to meet the requirements...

• Can this videocard be replaced or is it integrated with the motherboard?
• If it can be replaced, does anyone know what the compatibility criteria are?
• Is there a risk of overheating with a new videocard?

Like most of consumer level notebooks available in market today, processor or graphics cannot be upgraded. They are integrated and unique to the board.

The usb to dvi  adapter link to amazon.com will NOT upgrade the graphics to allow running any game the laptop cannot run now. Those usb to video  adapters are only for adding more monitors as for someone who needs 3 or 4 displays to watch multiple stock tickers. You cannot game on a monitor connected to such a device: response time is too slow.

Thanks! The only way forward seems to be to play the game in low resolution then. I believe the game has some parameters for doing so.
