HP au003tx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have purchased this HP au003tx 5 months ago. It working perfectly fine. But recently I noticed that the portion where the battery resides is way too warm when the notebook is running on battery. However no heating occurs when then the notebook is running on AC power supply. Is it normal or do I need to take it to the nearest service center to check the batteries? I am bit concerned because the dangerous that can be caused by fauly or overheating battery. I hope I get a reply soon.

Thanks.

@delfaxjack

Welcome to HP Forums,

This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips,

Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out 🙂

As I understand the HP 15 notebook is heating up a bit warm when running on battery power,

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

Heating up a bit is normal, that said, is it heating beyond 35 degrees Celsius (95 degrees Fahrenheit) as that isn't normal?

Did you check the YouTube video to reduce the heat on an HP laptop?

If you haven't, here's the video that should help your cause: Click here to watch the video.
