HP Spectre
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi Experts

I have an HP Spectre ProdID Z4Z35UA#ABA  Model 15-bl012dx and I am wondering how can I set the battery to 50% of full power. My concern is regarding the best practices of Battery conservation, I mean, 100% of full power is not good due to the most part of my time this laptop is plugged to AC Power.

I have another brand which has the software to set the battery in Conservation Mode setting the charge to 60% of full power, Is there any similar for my HP Spectre? I did not find any software on HP web page for drivers & software.

In advance, thanks for your help.

Raul

Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you.

I understand that you wanted to know if you can set the battery charge to 50% of full power.

Ideally, as per the design of the laptop, there is no option to set it at 50%. The charging will stop once it is 100% even if you connect to the AC power. So you need not worry, the battery will not overcharge.

You have a good day ahead.
