I have just purchased a HP PavilionWindows 10  laptop with 255GB SSD and 16384 MB DDR4 SD RAM.What is the best way to partition the drive to get the best operation. Should I incorporate an external HDD to store media etc.

That is a btiliant idea but you can add an internal GDD/SSD to your computer. There is a bay for a normal 2.5" SSD/HDD. You need Hard drive cable part number 856352-001 to connect,

Thanks BH, can you tell me theGB capacity of such a drive?

 

Also, do you have any advice as to partitioning the existing  SSD.
