Hi Paul,
Sorry to reply to the previous subject with this question.
I have a HP DV6500 (DV6615ea) and have bought a motherboard replacement for it as DAOAT1MB8HO rev H. It is slightly different from the original so I ask do you know what cooling fan/heatsink is the correct one for this board as the new board has the added NVidea chip G86-730-A2

Please go through Page 21 in the manual above to find the exact HP part number of fan/heat sink assembly (including thermal material) for the motherboard part you bought.
The motherboard must have an HP part number. Else you can match the specs like processor, graphics type to the specs given there.
