Product: pavillion 15 - ab234nl
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Hi I'd need to know the height of the drive to buy a ssd caddy, but I'm puzzled with it.
The code on the drive label is 39X1540. I think that the caddy should have a 9.5 mm height.
Does it?
Thank you in advance

Hi,
9.5mm: this one
https://www.newmodeus.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=2_5&products_id=562&zenid=e8e6...
But I've to warn you, SSD cannot be made bootable in optical drive bay. You can get the advantage of SSD only if you put it in 2.5 inch SATA primary HDD bay.
After that you can move HDD to optical drive caddy for storage.

I must insist you create HP Recovery USB using HP Recovery Manager before doing any upgrade
