20-c143w 64-bit, 4GB
I am looking to upgrade. I have purchased 1 4GB compatitable RAM.
The shop I'm going to for the install wants to know if both of my RAM slots are filled with 2 GB RAM, or if I have one slot filled with 4GB, and one free?
I need to know so that I can determine if I have to buy another 4GB RAM in order to have 8GB..because if both slots are filled I will only have 6GB.

Hi:
I have zipped up and attached a free utility below, that will provide the memory info you are looking for.
Run the utility, close the summary window, and on the left side of the program window click to expand the Memory section.
There you will see how many memory modules are installed, and what capacity.
