Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello, I bought this laptop 5 years ago and within 7 days, there was an issue with the screen. I gave it for servicing and it took a month to get it back!

Windows 7 was installed at that time, became slower within 3-4 months. I installed windows 10 and the situation got worsen. It became more slower, turning it on or off took around 10-30 mins. Moreover, there were network finding issues. I also noticed heating problems.

Though I had warranty, I lost my courage to give my laptop for servicing due to their huge delay. I stopped using it back then.

If I upgrade my laptop now, will it work properly?

I need to know, can I install  M.2 NVME SSD and RAM? If so, what is the maximum limit that I can put into it? Which configuration should I look for while buying the SSD and RAM?

The specs of your machine is

          https://support.hp.com/ie-en/product/hp-pavilion-15-p000-notebook-pc-series/6936226/document/c043540...

1. RAM: It has  4 GB 1600 MHz DDR3L SDRAM (1 x 4 GB) and supports 16GB max. You ccan install RAM to both slots using

          https://www.crucial.com/memory/ddr3/ct2kit102464bf160b/ct10761189

2. NVMe SSD: No, your machine does NOT have M.2 slot for storage. You can REPLACE 500 GB 5400 rpm SATA to 2.5" 1TB SATA SSD using

          https://www.crucial.com/ssd/mx500/ct1000mx500ssd1/ct11525734

You will get much better performance for few more years.

Regards.
