PAVILION AU620TX
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have recently bought an HP Laptop AU620TX from Hp Store .It's a great machine but the problem is with the touch pad

.When I'm using the touchpad for clicking the buttons it works normal and makes very feeble sound that's ok but when i use the touchpad for double clicking / touching ( not using button , just touching the touchpad) its makes rattling sound as if it is touching something metalic while using it .

It's irritating and annoying ! I have bought the laptop on 22 April 2017 . Can i return it for a new one or i should go for repairs and is the repair covered under warrantly ( since there is no physical / liquid damage) ?

Please help !

Very likely.

Depends.  If they replaced a part, then you are "good as new", and the problem should not reoccur.

If HP finds it better (and quicker for you) to "replace", that is their option, under the terms of the warranty.

Be sure to record the end-date for your warranty, to avoid any disputes, should they replace it.

Unless you purchased an "all perils" warranty, the warranty will not cover any physical/liquid damage.

Given that exercising the warranty on your brand-new computer costs you "nothing" (except loss-of-use if it is necessary to ship it away for repairs), please give HP Support a call.

It would be good to backup all your personal files before you ship it, just in case that HP decides to replace it.
