Hi Kazi,
I have recently purchased 5x HP Spectre x2 12-a008nr, 3 of which are showing signs of SSD (ADATA IM2S3138E-128GM-B) issues, as Windows will sometimes show file corruption errors or bluescreen, upon restart Windows will run chkdsk and find index and crosslink errors.
Anyway, I am willing to change out the SSD at my own cost, but would like to check compatibility before purchasing the new SSD's. I am thinking about replacing with Samsung 850EVO M.2 SATA SSD (MZ-N5E250BW). Could you help confirm rather this SSD is compatible with the Spectre X2 that I have?
Thanks,
Wilson

Hi @wilsonlee71
Welcome to the HP Forums!

I reviewed your post and understand that you want to know whether the Samsung 850EVO M.2 SATA SSD (MZ-N5E250BW) is compatible with your computer.
Don’t worry, I’d love to help!
I see that you support have m.2 sata port and the Samsung hard drive you have mentioned also uses the same port, so I am sure it should work with your computer. However, I am not sure about the physical dimension of the hard drive and whether it will fit correctly on your computer.
Below is the list of SSD’s supported for your computer.
512-MB, M2.2280, SATA-3, solid-state drive supporting TLC 763008-006
256-MB, M2.2280, SATA-3, solid-state drive supporting TLC 760615-014
128-MB, M2.2280, SATA-3, solid-state drive supporting TLC 759848-011
128-MB, M2.2280, SATA-3, MH solid-state drive 827560-008
Hope that answers your question.
