Hello,
I have HP Pavilion dv6-2140ee and would like to change my standard Hard Drive SATA - 7200 rpm(320Gb) with an SSD drive.
My questions are:
-Does my notebook support SSD drives?
-What is the recommendation for the type and size SSD hard drive?
Thanks in advance for your support

Welcome to HP Support Forum, my answers:
- Yes, it is an old machine but does support normal 2.5" SSD. It also supports Supports all Serial ATA (SATA) 9.5-mm, 6.35-cm (2.50-inch) hard drives therefore the thickness of current SSD's would fit.
- My suggestion: try the following vendor
http://www.crucial.com/usa/en/compatible-upgrade-for/HP---Compaq/pavilion-dv6-1334us
Regards.
