What you will need is a SATA mobile 2.5" SSD to replace the legacy spinner hard wisk with. I highly recommend that you replace it by cloning the current disk to the new one. That is the simplest method. See the sticky I created in this section of the forum for details on how that is done.
An SSD of 256 GB or higher capacity is recommended as a replacement for the legacy hard disk currently installed. An SSD of 256 GB or higher capacity will allow for use of the Recovery media that you created with the HP Recovery Media Creator utility.
See the following links at NewEgg.com to see what will work. You can only use SATA, SATAII and SATAIII interface SSD disks. None of the other interface types are compatible with your notebook's systemboard and BIOS !!!
