Product: Pavilion
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

This seems like a basic question but I cannot find the answer.  I have a 'HP Pavilion Notebook15-ab292nr (Touch)'.   I want a replacement fan.  I go to any site for replacement parts, and they are talking about Pavilion G4, G5, G7, etc, and then sub-numbers after that.  I cannot figure out what 'Gx' mine is, or if I am somehow in some other set of hardware.       

 

Question - how do I figure out my 'Gx' number, and / or how can i find a replacement fan?

The manual on page 56 shows Part # 806747-001 for the replacement fan.

The manual also has detailed removal/replacement instructions.

 

You can buy from HP Partsufer or you can Google the part # to find other sources.

I didn't know specifically that you have the 'Star Wars Special Edition'. I just searched the HP Support site for your models support page; HP Pavilion Notebook15-ab292nr
