Hi,

I want to install 256 GB SSDfor my laptop without removing HDD.

Does my laptop support SSD installation without removing HDD?

What specifications should I look for while buying SSD?

Thanks in advance,

Amol

Hi,

You can put M.2 2280 SATA-3 TLC SSD and make it boot drive by cloning or clean install of Windows 10. See this thread:
https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Hardware-and-Upgrade-Questions/HP-Envy-x360-M6-aq105dx/td-p/5...

And use HDD as storage drive.

Create HP Recovery USB using HP Recovery Manager before going for any Upgrade.
