Hi I just bought the Pavilion Gaming notebook yesterday.
I want to add in a SSD for faster booting.
Currently there is only a 1TB HDD.
I have been searching the HP site but can't find any information of a free slot for a SSD.
Can anyone help?
Thanks
Alex

Here is the Manual:
There is only one bay/slot for a 2.5 inch SATA form factor hdd or ssd. There is an M.2 mSSD slot you could use to add an SSD. See p. 45. This is not a simple thing to do. If you open it up to add the M.2 SSD it will jeopardize the warranty. Also, users are reporting issues with getting the M.2 mSSDs recognized and working and the reason is not clear right now. And then getting the OS onto the SSD will require some skills.
Post back if you need more help.
