Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I'm using a Pavilion ab216tx with - 15.6" diagonal HD BrightView WLED-backlit (1366 x 768)- display. Its been 5 years, the display is starting to get white dots and is dying. I would like to upgrade the display to a full hd display (15.6-inch FHD (1920 x 1080). Is it possible to replace the Normal HD display with an FHD one in ab216tx?

Hi,

Yes it is possible. Certain models in that series came with a FHD display.

The part number for the display is 819999-001

or 809372-001

Starting on page 74 of service manual you can see the steps to install the panel.
