Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

This laptop has exhibited the same battery swelling problem as other posters with the same model. Is there a solution to this from HP?

Not sure which model you have but if the battery is swelling get it out of the laptop to prevent damage or further damage and replace the battery. HP will do it for you if the laptop is under warranty but if not the cost is going to be on you. Don't shoot the messenger I do not work for HP. Its likely not as difficult or expensive to replace the battery as you think.
