Thanks for getting back with the information. I reviewed the thread. I'm still unable to find what the password is and it is quite possible that the contents of that link are not active anymore. I believe it is some kind of a firmware update.

However, I can help you with your HP Spectre x360. Are you too facing battery drain out issue when shut-down? Or is it some other-other issue with the battery?

Meanwhile, you may run a battery test sing the below steps:

• Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the computer.

• Turn on the computer and immediately press the F2 key repeatedly, about once every second.

• The HP PC Hardware Diagnostics (UEFI) main menu is displayed.

• Select Component tests.

• Select Power - There are two different power tests available, the AC Adapter Test and the Battery Test. 

Battery - The Battery Test checks your system to make sure that the battery is functioning properly. It tests the battery and allows you to run calibration if needed.

The Battery Check test time is 2 minutes. Battery Calibration time is 2 to 4 hours.

To run the battery test and for battery information, follow the steps in Battery Test.

i have updated Bios but problem not resoved

the battery is getting drained when the laptop is shut-off (not in sleep mode, but really shut-off, by using the windows start button). From 100% to 87% in a day

I need download Sphinx 1.0 PD FW

I suggest you to reach out to HP phone support because there is usually no username or password for any kind of update for these laptops that I know of. I'm not sure as to why the Sphinx 1.0 PD FW link is asking for a username and password.
