HP 15 Laptop PC N5Y04UA#ABA
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I want to install a Solid State Hard Drive but have found nothing in the support pages to indicate compatible drives.  Two questions:

1.  Is this possible

2.  What models may I use

On an additional frustrating note:  I use the key combination [F + ESC] to display information on my laptop yet none of the fields yield the "common" model number as desirerd by these forums, like e.g. f017, isn't that kind of, well, USELESS!  The number I posted "N5Y04UA#ABA" is listed as the Product Number, the closest I could find.

Thanks for any feedback.

15-f272wm...sold by Wal-Mart with the Pentium N3540 processor.

Yes you can install an SSD. It can be any 2.5 inch wide SATA SSD. I like to recommend the Samsung Evo 850 models but there are many good ones. OCZ is good, Kingston, SanDisk, many others.

This is in German but has English subtitles and will show that it is not really easy to do.

Post back if you need more help.
