Product: Omen 15-5250no
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Stupid engineers at hp decided to make battery connector able to be plugged in both ways, so i fried my motherboard when i plugged my new battery in. So now i need a new one, but i cant find any that fits to my laptop. So, where i can find one?

   NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M (4 GB GDDR5 dedicated)

   8 GB DDR3L SDRAM (onboard)

   Windows 10 Home 64

 

There fore you need System board part #  806344-601 which is a System board which includes 8 GB of system memory and 4 GB of discrete graphics memory for use in models Windows operating system.

 

The board is not available from HP now

Please use part # and search elsewhere such as eBay

Thanks to both of you for fast and precise responses. However, while searching motherboards i came up with this:

Will it work if i buy the cheaper one?

It is up to you, you can buy the cheaper one (less VRAM) or the same one on your machine

Just before i buy it, is it sure it will work? or does the vram amount draw less power or something else that causes the laptop not to boot etc?
