Hello, I am wondering if any one knows of any new tech that makes it possible to upgrade my G60-447CL notebook to USB 3.0. Thanks ahead for any advice

Hi! @Alb3456, Thanks for stopping by HP forums!

 

I understand that you would like to upgrade the USB port on your laptop to USB 3.0. 

 

You cannot upgrade the USB port because upgrading to USB 3.0 would require a whole new motherboard.

 

As USB  ports are integrated to system boards on a laptop you cannot upgrade.
