HP G4 250 Celeron N3060
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi

I am trying to determine if I can upgrade my HP G4 250 Celeron  N3060 Laptop to an Intel i5 or i7 CPU. I've seen on other forums the socket is shared (G2) but I can't confirm, therefore determine if there is an upgrade path.

Also, the manual doesn't show an upgrade option, only a system board swap out option which I assume may include the CPU.

Thanks very much

Hi,

That is true because you have to buy whole system board with CPU which is soldered to the system noard or motherboard. This is a very expensive upgrade.
