Envy 17 M7
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I purchased a refurbished HP Envy M7 n109dx on Amazon and I noticed that eventhough it was supposed to come with a 90 day warranty, it is expired. Is there any way I can get the 90 day warranty. I just received it today in the mail.

You mean it shows as expired on the website? Did you register it with HP? The system builds in a presumed warranty end date based on when the unit shipped to the seller. If it sits on the shelf for a while that date can come and go. The warranty is 90 days from retail delivery so keep all your paperwork and if a warranty claim comes up (let's hope not) you can prove the delivery date.

Thank you for your reply. Is there any way I can still register it with HP. I didn't do it when I initially did the setup about three hours ago.

The website for registration is down right now but You can just google HP Product Resgistration and do it online or I believe you can do it through the HP Support Assistant App that should have been installed on the laptop.

Thanks for your help. I manually checked online and it says that I have three months remaining which is correct.
