Hello. I have purchaced an AMD Phenom 9600B Quad-Core CPU. Everybody can overclock it, but i cannot. My motherboard is a HP 3029H. If someone could let me know why i cannot overclock, that would be great. Thank you for your time. 🙂
(P.S) I tried multiple overclocking programs, even one made by AMD.

Hi,
This is locked in BIOS. If you wish to overclock build your own machine, don't use branded machines. Reason: overclock machine will generate more heat and can fried a machine anytime. No vendor wanted customers send machines back due to failing hardware.
Hope this makes sense.
