Hello,
Will HP Pavillion dm4-2120ew work with Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6230. If not, which dual band/Bluetooth radio will. Please list part numbers of all cards which fit criteria.
Thank You.

Hello pkrzesinski,
Thank you for your reply.
After lot of research,
I found that this Part number 636672-001doesnt show the dm4-2120ew model under the compatible List and might not be supported by your systemboard and BIOS. I guess.
However I checked this : 572511-001
http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/processors/centrino/centrino-ultimate-n-6300-brief.html
This is tested for your model and also supports 2.4Ghz and 5.0 GHz.
Good luck!

Hello, thank you for the prompt response. None of the options listed support 5Ghz. WIll the Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6230 (HP P/N 636672-001) definitely not work? If not, why? Thank you.

Great, thank you! No bluetooth but I'd rather have faster internet anyway...I see the card has 3 antenna connections vs 2 on my current one (1030). Will this cause any problems? Is the list of tested cards available for download?

Hello, I'd like to provide an update. I ordered the Centrino Ultimate-N 6300 (Model: 633ANHMW/PN: 572511-001), it arrived today. It worked on the first try with the 5GHz signal (white antenna wire to TR1, black to TR2). I'm getting 53Mbps vs. 28Mbps with the old card. Thank you!
