Omen laptop
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Last month I purchased an Omen laptop with 8GB memory.  Now I would like to insert an additional 8GB.  In order to add the additional memory module, the base enclosure on the bottom will have to be removed along with disconnecting the battery.   Can I do this myself without voiding the warranty, or do I need to have HP do this?

Hi,

What is your Omen ? On many HP machines now you need this work from an Authorized Service Provider parts.  Please use the following instructions to find out the model/product of your machine:

Looks like I'll need to find an HP authorized service provider like you said.

Thanks for the info.
