hp 6710b cpu upgrade

Dear HP Community!

I have an old hp 6710b notebook with core 2 duo t7300 cpu. I'd like to improve the performance and change the cpu, but I don't find a clear answer to my question: which is the most powerful cpu what I can use in this notebook?

I found different answers:

I know that Mobile Intel GM965 chipset supports T9500, but it isn't clear whether it is supported by the BIOS or not.

Is there a list about the supported cpus?

T7700.

The Core 2 Duo T7300 (Socket P) is based on Merom core, and it fits into Socket P.

It has the same Watts and Stepping.

T9500

The T9500 is a Socket P CPU, based on Penryn core.
