Hi,

 

I would like to upgrade the memory on my HP pavilion 15 n077so to 16GB ram, but iam not sure how much ram it maximal can handle, and can you give me a example of which kind of ram do i need, thank you.

Here is the Service Manual:

 

Manual

 

It appears to say the max memory is 12 gigs but we know from long experience it will take 2 x 8 gig modules for 16 gigs. 

 

You need 2 of these:

 

8 GB memory module PC3L 12800 1600Mhz SHARED 693374-001
