Hi Team,

 

I am currently using a hp pavilion 15t -ab000 CTO with 6gb  ( a hynix 2gb ram and a smasung 4 gb slot) i am planning to ncrease the ram to 12 gb. kindly suggest how can I proceed?

Yes you can go up to 16gb (two 8gb sticks)

Yes in both, upto 16gb max possible.

Get another 8gb and replace 2gb. It should be exact same configuration , speed, voltage as other one and given in Manual.

I would upgrade to 16gb for dual channel boost though.

As you suggested can you tell me if my laptop 15t -ab000 CTO can go uptop 16gb as i have seen the last option is upgrade to 12 gb at the most.
