hello i had a problem with my hp notebook 620 3 days ago since i made a windows upgrade my laptop would suddenly freeze and make a horrible sound while freezing for 3 to 5 sec than revores by it's own the problem is still new and it really annoying and i'm afraid it would cause something else i'll appreciate your help thank u

You mentioned you recently did a windows upgrade, can you share a bit more about that?  I am assuming that it was just a Windows update, if so, the first thing to try would be to run Windows System Restore and restore your PC to a time before the update was applied.  Check out Using Microsoft System Restore for instructions on how to do that, look for the section: Restore your computer when Windows 8 starts normally, and choose a date before that Windows Update was applied.  Since it was a Windows update, it should have made a system restore point prior to installing it, so there should be at least that one.  If that doesn't work, let us know.

well i think it's a problem from the update but also this problem only occurs when i'm watching videos or playing games everything will freez and a horrible annoying sound comes out the speakers i'm gonna reset my computer to the time before i made the update if it still happens i think i may have a problem in my graphic card or audio
