The situation: I have two HP notebook/laptop PC's and two chargers and I do not know which charger belongs to each  computer.  The  connectors are the same; in other words, either charger will fit either one of the two computers.  But, the computers are not the same model and the chargers are not the same, and I don't want to risk damaging a computer  by connecting the wrong charger.  

 

I'm wondering whether I can identify the correct matching of charger to computer via the web.

What are your computers or what are the chargers. Please product/model or part numbers of computers OR chargers we can work out for you.

 

1. For computers: Please use the following instructions to find out the model/product of your machine:

  http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00033108

2. For chargers: check their labels to see part or product numbers.
