Hi,
The following link shows specs of your computer
It came with FreeDOS. It uses : Intel Core i3-4030U with Intel HD Graphics 4400 (1.9 GHz, 3 MB cache, 2 cores) and motherboard part number is: 774768-001.
Now, if you wish to upgrade to i7 processor, no available motherboard for your machine; only i5 processors and CPU is soldered to the motherboard
- Intel Core i5-4210U 1.7 GHz processor, SC turbo up to 2.7 GHz (3.0 MB L3 cache, dual core, 15 W) for use with FreeDOS and Ubuntu Linux HP Pavilion 15 Notebook PC part # 766469-001
- Intel Core i5-4210U 1.7 GHz processor, SC turbo up to 2.7 GHz (3.0 MB L3 cache, dual core, 15 W) for use with Windows Standard HP Pavilion 15 Notebook PC available for Windows 8.1 part # 766469-501
- Intel Core i5-4210U 1.7 GHz processor, SC turbo up to 2.7 GHz (3.0 MB L3 cache, dual core, 15 W) for use with Windows Professional HP Pavilion 15 Notebook PC available for Windows 8.1 part # 766469-601
This is a very, very, very expensive upgrade and won't give you much.
Regards.
