Hi.... i just got an hp elitebook 8560p and i changed my former laptop to this because of the graphics card... now i found out that the amd radeon 6400m seeies that comes with itsnt as strong as i want it to be... i juat want to know if i can totally change the graphics card or upgrade it... i cant play some games with it... thanks

No. This is a 5 year old computer. The AMD 6470M was the best video offered on this model and is soldered to the motherboard so it cannot be removed or improved.

Hi, i know that this is an old thread and I'm really sorry for reviving it, i just find this to be the most suitable place to ask, hope you'll forgive me. 🙂

 

I own this dear model, i like it very much, i'd like to keep using it for a while but i do find the lack of the dedicated GPU a problem (i have a Intel 3000 model without the Radeon).

 

Can i connect external GPU to it over Thunderbolt? Does this model support it? Does it have Thunderbolt 3 at all?

 

Once again, sorry for reviving an old thread. Hope you'll forgive me 🙂

Too old for Tbolt 3 but you do have an Expresscard 54 port and there are eGPUs available which use that interface. Start your own thread if you wish to discuss.
