Chromebook 11 g5 touchscreen
Chrome OS

My chromebook is over 60% charged and has started randomly shutting down (scren goes black, power is off until I hit the POWER ON/restart key).

 

It has done this twice in the last hour. 

 

I've had this new chromebook for less than a week and have used it for only a few hours so far. 

 

Any thoughts on why this is occuring and how to prevent it?

It was too hard to find any sort of answer to this problem so I returned the Chromebook to best buy and purchased a replacement. Too bad, had an answer been readily available it would have saved me time and HP or Best Buy money.
