Laptop Model : HP Pavillion 15 ab288sa (ENERGY STAR)
OS : Running Windows 10 Home (x64 bit)
RAM : 8GB
HDD : 2TB
[personal information removed]
Product No : P5P67EA#ABU
Bought In : UK
Currently Using In : Sri Lanka
My laptop is running slow although there is 8GB ram. So I tried to restore the laptop by pressing F11 key. But I'm getting this error message when I try to reset
Then I try to reset the laptop using windows setting. For that also I'm getting error message
Laptop battery is stated that was 6.5 hrs battery when buying. But currently it is working only for 2.5 hrs for normal usage. And also laptop is getting heated.
Currently My Warranty status :
Covered under Manufacturer warranty , 3 months remaining.
Warranty end dateJanuary 12, 2017
I couldn't work in this laptop as it is very slow and poor battery condition.
How can I solve this problem?
Can I claim warranty to restore windows and change battery?
As I bought laptop in UK, can I claim warranty in Sri Lanka?
Is there any HP Support Centres or any other places to show my laptop issues in Sri Lanka?

I understand that the notebook was running very slow, so you tried to do a restore from the F11 key but received a message that your PC/ device needs to be repaired. A required device is not connected or is inaccessible, with a prompt to insert recovery media. Did you create recovery media? If not you can reinstall Windows 10 using the Media Creation tool. Windows 10. Once you have successfully installed Windows 10 and done all the Windows updates, download, install and run the HP Support Assistant to aid with any recommended HP updates and drivers. As you did state this is because the computer is slow, this link may help. HP PCs - Computer Is Slow (Windows 10). Please let me know the outcome.
