Hi All - searches seem to be a bit mixed/unclear on this question, is it possible to upgrade the RAM in this model?

Searches on HP’s own website suggest not, but elsewhere it looks like it might be possible. Does anyone have a definitive answer?

Hi:

 

Yes, we have found that the 15-ee0xxx notebook model series can support up to 2 x 16 GB of DDR4-3200 MHz CL22 memory.

 

The service manual provides conflicting information.  Chapter 1 indicates the memory is not upgradable.

 

Then chapter 5 goes on to provide a memory removal and replacement procedure.
