BADSERVICE
Microsoft Windows Vista (64-bit)

I was about to order a product but since a web page provides me wrong information, I wish to make sure if it is a right info. Chatted live and I realised that I should not order HP products.  I did not believe that HP has a bad customer service but now I think the rumors and bad reputations are true.

Anyone who is trying to buy HP, kindly advise you 'please don't.'

I understand HP is the similar position as the united airlines, relatively a cheap price and not many providers.

I asked 4 questions over and over on the live chat since no answer but repeating messages 'sorry for the long wait......' every ten mins or twenty minutes

After waiting for 45 mins, a service staff sent me a pdf file which I  can get on the internet and asked me to check.

Without answering all questions but sending me one PDF, next message is 'Is there anything else I can assist you with before we end this chat?'

The worst part is the pdf file is irrelevant to my questions.  Overall,  I spent one hour and 15 mins to get my answers regarding product info which is not that helpful. Even before placing an order, they can not provide a proper answer and make customers wait for more than one hour to offer poor quality support.

It would be a disaster if the product goes bad and hp customer support is so poor like it does not even exist.

I am not sure HP outside Australia but I am sure that HP Australia does not understand what is customer service.

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

If you are unfamiliar with how the Forum's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.
Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forum.
