Download Windows 10 Updates Troubleshooter Tool from Microsoft <

Run it and click on "Hide updates" option and you'll be able to hide desired update  in the list.

I believe this is a problem that must be solved by Microsoft. Theory is that WU is pushing an update out that may not apply to your machine-and many others reporting the same problem. 

HP and MS are looking into it.

Some members are reporting that MS has issued a new driver that works. After hiding the one that doesn't go to Device Manager and Update manually.

Device Manager

Expand System Devices

Find- HP Mobile Data Protection Sensor

Right click and choose Update Driver
