Hi:

See this link for how to set up W11 without having a network connection.

How to bypass internet connection to install Windows 11 - Pureinfotech

You probably need to install the Wi-Fi driver which is not included in the W11 installation media.

How do I get back the WiFi thingy?

You're very welcome.

As I had replied earlier, you probably just need to install the correct Wi-Fi driver for the model Wi-Fi card HP installed in your notebook.

Go to the device manager.

When the Wi-Fi adapter needs a driver, there will be a device listed in the device manager labeled as a Network Controller.

Find that device and post the hardware ID for the Network controller so I can figure out what driver it needs.

Use this guide for how to find the hardware ID for a device:

Can u read them from the photo or do u need me to type them out?

HP Recommended

Yes, I can see them fine.

Here is the link to the Wi-Fi driver you need:

Thanks. How to add it to my laptop so I can get my WiFi on it again?

HP Recommended

You're very welcome.

Download the driver file from another PC.

Copy it to a USB flash drive.

Plug the flash drive into your notebook needing the Wi-Fi driver.

Open the flash drive in 'This PC.'

Double click to run the driver file you saved to the flash drive and the Wi-Fi driver should install.
