Model:
HP ENVY m7-k010dx Notebook PC (ENERGY STAR)
Problem:
I just want to know how I can change how the function keys work without having to go into the BIOS because I don't know the BIOS Administrative password. They currently work as Multimedia Keys by default and if I want to use the Function Keys, I have to hit "fn" every time just to use one function key. Is there a way to make the Function Keys work primarily as function keys without having to push "fn" all the time?

Hi,
You will need to make the change in the bios.
If you've forgotten the bios password, at the bios password screen, hit enter 3 times and you should receive a 'halt code' - post back with this code.
