The current version is rev5.09.

Could someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks.

Yeah that BIOS flash dates back to 2008 so it may require Vista in order to run and install. In fact it is really dangerous to try a BIOS flash in compatibility mode.

Latest is 5.14 if you have an AMD processor which I believe you do:

Hi,

Yes, I am currently running an Athlon Processor.

The file downloaded ok, but I get an error when trying to run it.

"Your system does not meet the minimum system requirements"

I have tried running it as Admin and running at Windows XP SP3 Compatability.

I am currently running Windows 10.

Is there a way to extract the image from the file? I can update using a boot disk.

Well use Winzip or similar to extract the component files on the BIOS flash program. There should be a .bin file in there that is the actual BIOS Code. Then you need to make a bootable floppy or thumb drive and put it on there and also a DOS version of the flash executable.

This white paper discussed it:

Hi,

Thanks for the quick reply. I finally had to dig up an old version of WinRAR, but I did get it and was able to finally flash the BIOS.

Still didn't work. I suspect the MOBO is not able to handle the CPU I wanted to put into it. See my post with Dean for details if you wish.

Thank you for your help.
