hi... what if i just want to revore f1-f3 is that posible?? or i want to change it like for example on my laptop here f2 and f3 is for lights adjustment.. i want to change it for fn+arrow up and dow..

Using your mouse, you can get to control panel and open the ease of access center.  Open up the "on screen keyboard" and click a few letters.  Afterwards, the keyboard goes back to normal functionality. 

 

This isn't a lasting fix but it works for me when the problem pops up.

Also, typing "u", just a u brings up the ease of access center. However, i don't find the on screen keyboard trick works when trying to log in to the computer

I have a two-day-old hp pavilion. It also has the same problem as mentioned above. It is also laggy, which should not be the case as it has a n intel core i7 and a nvidia geforce gtx graphics card. An example of my laptop lagging would be when starting up a not very heavily graphics-dependent or performance-demanding application like counter strike.Even the little moving balls at the beginning lag sometimes. I find this odd as my computer is only 2 days old. Please help me.
