Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I just acquired a Samsung 32 Inch LED TV UN32J4000 HDTV  and am wondering what's the best HDMI cable to get/use to connect to my HP G 71 laptop for this ?

Welcome to HP Forums @MikeyMomo, this is a great place to find solutions and tips. 

 

Thanks for the post and I see that you need assistance in selecting an HDMI cable to connect your computer to the new TV. Congratulation on the new TV, by the way, I would like to assist. 

 

The TV you got has 2 HDMI ports based on the specification available http://hp.care/2fTJnCm

There are several series under G71, most of them have 1 HDMI port http://hp.care/2fTQqLx

Recommend you to look at the HMDI port on the computer and TV, if they look the same then you can purchase any HDMI cable from a store or online. 

Please provide the product number of your computer for accurate information.
