Your laptop came with Windows 8.1.

If I understand you correctly, follow option 2 in this tutorial: https://www.eightforums.com/tutorials/5538-desktop-background-change-windows-8-a.html

many thanks for your quick reply. Unfortunately I didn't have had the time to excecute  the tutorial. I will come back when I have accomplished the task.

it workes quite well. I foung the annoying screen images and could delete them. Issue solved now. Mnay thanks.
