For the last weeks the screen of my laptop has been faulty. Sometimes a green bar appears at the bottom of the screen, and the last two days a white bar blinks at the bottom of the screen as well.
I have already checked my computer through HP PC Hardware Diagnostics and apparently everything is fine, but those bars keep appearing in the screen.

Thank you for replying,
This doesn't happen frequently and you could try the steps mentioned earlier as that would give us a clear picture of what you need,
The issue would be fixed free of charge if you had purchased any Accidental damage protection plans during purchase,
If not, certain charges would apply.
Please contact HP Phone support for details about how to proceed with the repair options:
HP Technical Support can be reached by clicking on the following link:
http://h22207.www2.hp.com/us-en/?openCLC=true
(1) Once the support page opens please select the country in which you're located. Next, enter your HP model number on the right.
(2) Next, choose the 'Contact Support' tab at the top and scroll down to the bottom of the 'HP Support- Contact' page to fill out the form provided with your contact information.
(3) Once completed click the 'Show Options' icon on the bottom right.
(4) Lastly, scroll down to the bottom of the page and select 'Get phone number.' A case number and phone number will now populate for you.

Welcome to HP Forums, this is a great place to get support, find answers and tips,
Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out 🙂
As I understand the screen has a green and a white bar on the display that isn't being identified as an issue on any of the hardware tests you've performed,
I recommend checking with an alternate monitor or TV to check if the bars show up: Click here for information
If the issue appears on the alternate display as well it's a faulty video card or motherboard, if not that you need to get a replacement LCD.
Let me know if those steps worked for you. If they did, that’s awesome! Give us some reinforcement by clicking the solution and kudos buttons, that’ll help us and others see that we’ve got the answers!
Good Luck.

Also...
I still have 2 months and a half of warranty. Does the warranty cover this? And what would be the process to replace the LCD or whatever is needed?
I'm in the middle of my Master's Degree and really need my laptop to function properly 😞
