Hi,

The display resolution of my machine is HD+ (1600x900). is there a way to change it to FHD (1920x1080)?. The graphic card is Intel.

That screen you have will never be anything other than 1600 x 900. You would need to replace it with this screen or equivalent. 

 

WLED Antiglare FHD non-touch screen 809347-001

 

And the FHD screen panel uses a different cable so you would have to replace that, too.

What about it...there is no card as you possibly understand that term. It is a chip soldered to the motherboard and cannot be replaced or changed.
