Product: Active Stylus

I have a Pavilion X360 laptop and recently purchased the HP Active Stylus, and I put in a fresh battery and read the manual of how to connect it to my laptop, but it isn't working. The manual did not give good/clear instructions at all, so hopefully you can help!
