  1. So yesterday I did a windows 7 installation on my laptop.
  2. And I already have downloaded drivers from hp website.
  3. So now the only thing is installation.
  4. I think the intel driver is already present so it should install on its own.
  5. But it installs some graphics driver which is named as VGA video controller in device manager.
  6. So I tried to manually install the intel graphics driver in the standard way i.e. double click , then install , then yes to all.
  7. But after that nothing happens.
  8. The cursor just loads something for few seconds and then that's it nothing.
  9. After that when it visit device manager and in the display drivers it still shows that same VGA driver.
  10. Then I tried to install the wifi network driver even it did not get installed.
  11. And also the AMD driver doesn't get installed.
  12. Can anyone guide me with any solution and also is there any specific way of driver installation.

I see that you are having issues while updating the drivers on your Pavilion notebook. I would suggest you try and use HP Support Assistant to download the necessary drivers to update the old ones.

 

HP Support Assistant is a software program designed to help you keep your computer in working order, prevent potential problems from arising, and resolve problems quickly and easily. The program also provides valuable system information that you need when troubleshooting computer problems. Please go to http://hp.care/2gFA6Q8 to install the HP SA if you do not have it already.

 

If you have the HP SA installed then go to http://hp.care/2gqoIri and follow the steps under “Checking for HP updates’ to find and install the updates.

 

Alternatively, you can go to http://hp.care/2jxk925 to manually download and update the driver from you product driver download page.

 

Please let me know if this resolves the issue, or if you require further assistance.
